Brian M. Middleton is a candidate for the position of judge for the newly created County Court at Law Number Five of Fort Bend County, Texas.
Brian is married to Coretta R. Middleton and has three children. He is the son of Attorney Bernard L. Middleton and Carolyn Middleton of Houston, Texas. He is the brother of Attorney Tracy A. Middleton and Joseph L. Middleton of Houston, Texas.
Brian is a 1994 graduate of the University of Houston and a 1997 graduate of Thurgood Marshall School of Law. Brian has been licensed to practice law in the State of Texas since November 7, 1997.
Brian was previously employed as an assistant attorney general for the State of Texas, briefing attorney for the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals, assistant district attorney for the Fort Bend County District Attorney's Office, and an associate attorney for Barrett, Burke, Wilson, Castle, Daffin, and Frappier, LLP.
Brian is the owner of the Middleton Law Firm and specializes in the areas of criminal defense, family law, bankruptcy, probate, personal injury, and other civil matters.
Brian is also currently employed as municipal prosecutor for the cities of Meadows Place and Jersey Village.
Brian is also employed as a trustee and conducts foreclosure auctions on the first Tuesday of every month.
In his 18 years of practicing law, Brian M. Middleton has tried hundreds of jury trials and handled many appeals.
Brian M. Middleton is a former president and former board member of the Fort Bend County Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, a current member of the Advisory Council for the Fort Bend County Children's Advocacy Center, and active member of the Dad's Club at his daughter's high school.
